Perched above the historic old town, FLC Halong Bay Golf Club & Resort delivers a world-class golfing experience overlooking the UNESCO World Heritage-listed bay. Developed by the Hanoi-based FLC Group, this premier resort complex integrates an 18-hole championship course with a luxury hotel, a modern convention center, and private residential villas.

The Course Layout & Design

• Elite Pedigree: Designed by the prominent US firm Schmidt-Curley (planners of Mission Hills China) and built by Flagstick Constructions, the project successfully converted a steep, challenging landscape into a visually spectacular resort course.
• Scenic Highlights: Spanning roughly 6,800 yards from the tips, the par-71 layout features five par-3 holes. Three of these holes provide panoramic, 180-degree vistas over Halong Bay, with the 8th and 12th holes drawing comparisons to the iconic 7th at Pebble Beach.
• Playability: Carpeted entirely in Platinum Paspalum grass, the course balances dramatic ridge-line play with wide, generous landing areas. It is designed to be highly playable and forgiving for resort guests without sacrificing tactical interest.

Location & Tourism Impact

• Bucket-List Destination: Situated directly in a globally acclaimed "New 7 Wonder of Nature" that draws millions of international and domestic visitors annually to see its iconic limestone karsts.
• Accessibility: Located just a three-hour drive from Hanoi or accessible via cruise ship ports, it stands out as one of the most geographically accessible and scenic resort courses in Asia.
