18 holes par 72 (7009 yards)
Conceived by a French architect in 1922 and built later that decade with the backing of Vietnam’s last emperor, Bao Dai, Dalat Palace Golf Club is Vietnam's top-rated golf course. Sitting 1,500 meters above sea level in the "City of Eternal Spring," its cool mountain climate allows it to feature some of Southeast Asia's only flawless bentgrass greens.
The 18-hole, par-72 championship layout measures 7,009 yards (6,409 meters). It weaves through rolling hills, majestic pine trees, and vibrant local flora (including hydrangeas and bougainvillea) overlooking Xuan Huong Lake.
Historic Resilience: The course survived two periods of abandonment (post-WWII and post-1975). It hosted U.S. Open champion Billy Casper in 1966 before undergoing a multi-million-dollar American-led restoration in 1993, officially reopening in 1994.
Acclaimed Acclivity: Consistently ranked as Vietnam's #1 course by Golf Digest (2001–2007), named a top-10 Asian course by Asian Golf Monthly (2007), and member of the Finest Golf Clubs of the World.
Practice Facilities: Includes a full-service practice area featuring an open 290-yard driving range, putting green, and sand bunkers.
