As the premier 27-hole facility in Laos, Long Vien Golf Club debuted its original 18-hole layout in 2012, followed by its final nine holes in 2016. The club is situated within a special duty-free zone just 16 kilometers outside Vientiane and only one kilometer from the Mekong River border separating Thailand and Laos.

Layout & Course Conditions

Stretching a massive 7,538 yards from the championship tees, this formidable par-72 course is carpeted entirely in premium Paspalum grass, ensuring excellent playing conditions throughout the year.

• The Terrain: Built on a flat landscape, the course relies on man-made mounding, strategic water features, and sharp-lipped bunker complexes to challenge players. The scenery is beautifully framed by mature trees, vibrant flowers, and red-grass wetlands.

• East Course vs. West Course: The East Course features a tighter routing through forested areas and a network of lakes, putting a premium on approach shot club selection. In contrast, the West Course offers a more open layout but features heavily undulated fairways and denser bunkering.

Service Spotlight: Long Vien features an all-male caddie corps. While their English may be limited, they provide exceptional service and possess highly reliable course management knowledge.
