Established by the British in 1909, Yangon Golf Club is one of the oldest clubs in Myanmar, located a 25-minute drive north of central Yangon. Operating as a not-for-profit organization, the course historically faced seasonal flooding and cracking, leading to several re-routings. However, recent upgrades—including a transition to international-standard Japonica grass—have significantly improved the facility, ensuring excellent year-round maintenance.

The layout offers a fun yet challenging test, featuring long tee shots over water alongside strategically placed bunkers and hazards. Renowned for its peaceful natural ambiance, the course is a crowd-pleaser that has proudly hosted the Asian PGA Tour.
